South Korea is one of the most developed countries in the world. They have achieved wonderful accomplishments throughout the years and it is amazing that South Korea did it in a short amount of time. With this continuing development, a series of innovations in technology has been improving at a fascinating pace. But today, I am just focusing on the innovation itself. Letโs take a look at the tech making life in Korea more convenient than ever!
Automatic Coffee-Making Machine
I have seen many places that have this amazing technology, and I am quite amazed at how precise it is here in Korea.
You can see these shops everywhere in Seoul and even in Incheon, where I am currently staying at. One that I am really familiar with is at a premium outlet. I tried it once and it tasted good.
There are multiple options of coffee that you can pick but usually, it is just the normal coffees such as lattes, americanos, espressos, etc. Personally, my coffee choice would be a latte. I donโt think I am mature to drink Americano, as it is too strong for me. I like sweet food so americano and espresso are not my choices.
I ordered a latte and the robot went straight to work. It wasnโt expensive at all. Actually, it was the same as the average price of coffee at a coffee shop. The taste was normal, but I would rather go to a coffee shop and drink coffee there. I just did it for the experience. It was intriguing to watch it make coffee though.
Self-Checkout Convenience Stores
Now, this is what I really like about Korea. Convenience stores are everywhere. They are extremely easy to find. In my country, we have it also but there arenโt as many as in Korea. Plus, the variety of food you can find in the store is convenient and all of them are delicious.
The best part is that many of them are open 24 hours a day. Since there is a bit of a staffing shortage, many have changed to self-checkout at night. It is really useful because people can easily purchase late-night food without worrying about finding the nearest store that is open. It depends on the store though, as some stores have workers around the clock. However, it is still convenient for me to get late-night snacks. The famous convenience stores in Korea would be GS25, CU, and 7Eleven.

Korean Public Transportation
Something I deeply enjoy in South Korea is the convenience of public transportation. There are buses and trains that can get you to anywhere you want to get to and the transportation is cheap too.
I am so glad that the transportation is so cheap because I like to travel a lot so it allows me to travel cheaply from one place to another. It normally only costs about 3000 won per trip. There are also buses in my country, but the quality canโt be compared to Korea. In Cambodia, the arrival time is so messed up and the traffic is worse, so it makes public transportation unreliable and inconvenient.
On the other hand, Korea has an amazing system and the arrival time is always accurate. Wellโฆ except for buses sometimes, as it depends on the road traffic but it is always around 3 or 4 minutes late at most. So, it is not a very big deal.
The subway system is like a gift from God. I really enjoy taking the subway since it is really cheap and comfortable. There is also WIFI on the train. As a result, you can just watch your favorite show while traveling. But sometimes, you have to transfer to another railroad, which would be a bit difficult for newcomers because you have to understand the system. But no worries, after a few trips, youโll get used to it.
