Perfect Place for a Puppy Date: Aussie Atelier

When thinking about going for a nice brunch, a lot of things come into play. But, what if your brunch could include the company of your furry friend? That is a win-win situation that we are happy to see happening more and more often! There are a lot of 애견동반 places around but it’s odd to find brunch and restaurants that allow our little friends, let alone also offer comfy seats and cushions for them. Aussie Atelier is THE place for your pup to have the time of their lives!

First Impressions of Aussie Atelier

After living a few meters away from this place and being constantly tempted to try it out, I went out and took my puppy, Tinkie, to explore this very colorful brunch spot. 

First of all, the design of this place is absolutely gorgeous. It had an outdoor area with several comfy chairs and deco-inspired brunch spots you’d see in Australia.

Upon arriving they assigned us a seat. They do not take reservations, so it’s a first come first serve situation. Thankfully, it’s a pretty calm neighborhood so you won’t encounter much trouble finding a place to sit. 

Puppy Perks

After we were seated, they provided us with the cutest and fluffiest cushion and toys for your puppy to get entertained whilst you enjoy your food and take in the moment.

Surprisingly enough they also have a pet menu. It’s not as wide and varied as the human menu, but it was very cute to see my puppy having her own physical menu. I got her some pet madeleine.

I believe they were made out of non-lactose milk, sweet potato, and egg, all safe ingredients for pets. To say the least, Tinkie thoroughly enjoyed her treat. 

Aussie Atelier Menu

Their menu is a very varied and authentic Australian-style brunch with eggs Benedict, avocado, fries, mushrooms, salmon… The list goes on but I decided on Benny Brekkie. The name says it all, authentic Eggs Benedict which has hollandaise sauce, salmon, and poached eggs. 

Interestingly enough, they have a lot of produce from overseas and different kinds of milk that we can easily find in supermarkets abroad. So, this is your place if you’d much rather have a familiar taste of your favorite lactose-free, almond, or even cashew milk (they sometimes have it on stock). The last time I went they also offered Puppuccino which is becoming more and more normal in Korean pet-friendly cafes.

The staff were very attentive and fast at all times, making the stay so much more comfortable. While waiting for your meal, you can take as many pics as you can because the place is just drop-dead gorgeous.
