Yeouido Hangang Park

Yeouido Hangang Park [한강 공원 여의도 지구] is one of the most popular parks along Hangang River that attracts both locals and tourists. Individuals, couples or groups usually go the this park to rest and have fun, especially during weekends. It has various attractions such as the Water Light Suare, Waterside Fountains, Festival Land, Piano Waterway, the Yacht Marina, and many more.

There are also exciting events such as concerts and marathons being held at Yeouido Hangang Park all-year-round. During spring season, you can also visit the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival in this park.

How to get there

Yeouinaru Station [여의나루역], Seoul Subway Line 5, Exit 2 or 3

E-Land Cruise

Another exciting activity that you can experience at Yeouido Hangang Park is the Eland Cruise. This cruise is traversing the Hangang River where you can enjoy an hour of relaxing cruise experience with a fascinating sight of the city. How to get there
  1. Ride a subway and get off at Yeouinaru Station (Seoul Subway Line 5). Find your way out to Exit 3.
  2. Go towards Yeouido Dock (about 12 minutes by foot), then you will see E-land Cruise ticket office next to the stairs in front of the dock.

Wonhyo Bridge

Wonhyo Bridge [원효대교] is the bridge that crosses the Han River and connects the districts of Yongsan-gu and Yeongdeungpo-gu. It is located at Yeouido Hangang Park and is just few walks from Eland Cruise docking area. A lot of Kdramas, variety shows and even music videos were filmed at Wonhyo Bridge. One of the most iconic is the scene from the Kdrama “The Legend of the Blue Sea” which reunited “My Sassy Girl” lead stars Cha Tae-hyun and Jun Ji-hyun.
