It tells the story of people in the world startup companies including their hardships and way to success. Watching this drama will make you want to support start-up companies in achieving their business goals. But did you know that there is a creative space in Seoul where you can actually support start-up businesses? Itโs the Under Stand Avenue (์ธ๋์คํ ๋์๋น๋ด) located in Seongsu.

About Under Stand Avenue
Understand Avenue is an outdoor mall and creative public cultural space. It is built from cargo containers which house the several start-up businessesโ stores. According to its website, it is an innovative start-up and founding platform that combines Shinhan Bankโs digital infrastructure to nurture and realize the dreams of young entrepreneurs. They provide a one-stop integrated solution from startup training to market testing, financial and investment support. They also help businesses in sales distribution and manpower needs. It is a space where young people work together for a better community by supporting each other.

This creative space was a filming site of the Kdrama โThe Liar and His Loverโ starring Red Velvetโs Joy and actor Lee Hyun-Woo. In the episode 7 of the drama, the two lead actors meet in front of the WALKSHOP-signed container. After meeting, they eat at Brinner on the opposite side of WALKSHOP.

Brinner offers delicious meal such as burgers, pasta and salad. But unfortunately, they closed their restaurant last June 28 of this year.

Lastly, there is a Young Creators Market which introduces young entrepreneur brands to the visitors. Moreover, there are various cultural events and festivals that people could enjoy.

- Ride a subway then get off at Seoul Forest Station [์์ธ์ฒ์ญ], Bundang Line or Yellow Line. Find your way out to Exit 3.
- From Exit 3, just walk about a minute in the opposite direction of Seoul Forest.
Parking Information
- There is no parking space, so please use public transportation.
- If you inevitably use a car, please use the nearby parking lot such as in Seoul Forest or Galleria Foret Underground Parking.
