To celebrate Twice’s comeback I, as a fan, decided to share some research that I did some time ago about the filming locations of some of the most famous music videos of the group. So if you are a Once like me, I hope you enjoy these places as much as I did (at least the ones that I was able to get in). If you are a casual listener looking for some k-pop self-tours, here is the list.
Note: This is part I of my list, newer music videos will be covered in the second part.
Like Ooh-Ahh

The first one on the list is no other than the filming location of “Like Ooh-Ahh”, their debut single (back in 2015), and was filmed in one of my favorite places to visit, Yongma Land (located in Seoul). To summarize, Yongma Land is an abandoned amusement park from the 80s that now is open for visits and photoshoots although the rides do not operate anymore. You can climb up the places and spend many hours taking pictures with the number of possibilities that the place offers.

And, as the main attraction, and the background of the music video, we have the old carrousel that lights up at night, so be sure to stay until closing time for it.

Cheer Up
Sinseol Dong Station Ghost Platform
“Cheer Up” is Twice’s second music video and, although it had many filming locations, one of them is famous for being featured in some dramas and movies (like Cold Eyes/감시자들) and other groups’ music videos (BEAST and B.A.P). The location is known as Sinseol-dong Station Ghost Platform (신설동역 유령 승강장).
This station was a project back in 1972, but due to flooding it was never officially used. In 2017, Seoul’s government decided to open it for filming and visits. Unfortunately, now it is not open to the general public anymore, but things may change, so here is the geolocation: 37.574699, 127.025110.
In the music video, you can see Jeongyeon, Momo, and Jihyo walking down the subway platform, which gives an eerie vibe to their characters (check out the timestamp at 00:57).
Riverside House
Another famous location that appeared in other movies and dramas is the Riverside House (강가의집). The scenes where the girls are inside a house and in front of it are all filmed at this place, and if you are willing to spend some money, you can even rent the place for yourself. The stay is beautiful and you can see some photos on their website. This one is located outside Seoul at Gyeonggi-do, Gapyeong-gun, Oeseo-myeon, Samhoe-ri, 478-18
Other Locations
Finally, the sports field featured toward the end of the music video is Goyang Sports Center (고양종합운동장), also located outside Seoul at 경기 고양시 일산서구 중앙로 1601.
Some short appearances include Yangjae Stream’s Cherry Blossom Lane where Mina is seen walking in the school girl outfit while cherry blossom petals fall from above (timestamp 2:39). The lane is beautiful all year long, but during cherry blossom season is especially pretty (address: Yangjae Stream, Yangjaedong, Seocho-gu, Seoul).
Tzuyu’s scene running next to some columns while wearing the black dress located at Paju City Hall’s Concert Hall (address: 경기 파주시 탄현면 얼음실로 40), the timestamp is 3:14.
Lastly, some scenes of the group inside a school were filmed at the elementary school 강선초등학교, located at 64 Juyeop-dong, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
