Are you a fan of the coming-of-age Korean drama “True Beauty”? If yes, then you have probably thought of visiting their filming locations when you go to Korea one day. True Beauty is actually a Kdrama that is adopted from a webtoon starring Moon Ga-young, Cha Eun-woo, Hwang In-yeop, and Park Yoo-na. It centers around a high school girl who transformed into beautiful young lady with the help of makeup after being bullied and discriminated for being ugly.

Dragon Hill Spa and Resort
True Beauty featured the Dragon Hill Spa and Resort on its episode. The drama’s lead character Im Ju-kyung (Moon Ga-young) accompanies her older sister who has a hungover. However, some of her classmates coincidentally arrived there too prompting Ju-kyung to hide as much as she can. This resort was actually named by CNN as one of the 50 Reasons Why Seoul is the World’s Greatest City. It offers great relaxation experience 24/7 throughout four seasons in Korea. Hano is a clothing store located in Yeonnam-dong in Mapo-gu. This place appeared in the episode 11 of True Beauty in the flashback showing Lee Su-ho (Cha Eun-woo), Han Seo-jun (Hwang In-yeop), and Jeong Se-yeon (Kang Chan-hee). They were browsing items in this shop and Se-yeon selected the bracelets for the three of them.

Myeongdong Shopping Street
Im Ju-kyung and Seo-jun (Hwang In-Yeop) crash ito each other while on the street of Myeongdong in the 2nd episode of True Beauty. Seo-jun was on his motorbike while Ju-kyung was walking. NIN (Bukchon Hanok Village)
NIN [닌] is a leather goods store just across the street from Luna Touch located in Bukchon Hanok VIllage. It appeared as ‘Pandora Shop’ in True Beauty. Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을) which literally means “northern village” is surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine. Su Noraebang Hongdae Branch
Su Noraebang was featured in the episode 6 of True Beauty where Ju-kyung was taken by her former high school bullies. Later on, Lee Soo-ho and others came to save her.
