The Incheon Tri-bowl is built by iArc Architects with a never-seen-before concept of placing the head like structure on top of the building. Since Korea’s tourism industry is thriving swiftly, the government is trying hard to erect as many bewildering sites as possible. And Tri Bowl is another try stemming out of this idea.
Tri Bowl, as the name suggests, looks like a bowl. The entire building is floating on a pond with water as deep as 2-ft. The main idea of this place is to symbolize the ocean, sky, and earth. To enter the main gate, a bridge is erected to take tourists inside the building. This same bridge continues even inside the building to move around. This is a very novel concept which you will not find in many places.
Things You Can Do At Tri Bowl
Gladly, the only purpose of Tri Bowl is not only its breathtaking exterior but rather the options you have inside of it. It is basically a recreational building that offers mostly entertainment related opportunities.
There’s a large theatre/exhibition center which can contain up to 400 people in one go. The fun thing about this theatre is its structure. It is built like the old-age Greek parliaments in a circular shape to give the visitors an aesthetically pleasing sense.
Moreover, there are multiple spots to relax and enjoy the sight with your friend and family. Many rooms are allocated for exhibitions and performative arts where artists come and exhibit their craft.
