Korea is famous for its unique cafes. Your visit to Korea is not complete if you forget to visit a few unique cafes in each area. Visiting a cafe is a must for a little relaxation during your trip. They serve coffee and tea with refreshing tastes and yummy snacks such as baked goods. Jeonju, the capital city of Jeollabukdo Province, offers you unique cafes that can only be experienced in Korea. Each cafe will offer you different types of foods and beverages. Here are the top three cafes that I visited in Jeonju.
Saekjang Rice Mill
(์์ฅ ์ ๋ฏธ์)
Saekjang Rice Mill is an old rice mill that turned into a cafe on the outskirts of Jeonju. But, you can go there easily by bus or taxi.
Saekjang Rice Mill offers you those comfy old vibes and you can see some antique stuff while drinking and relaxing.
One of the best things about this cafe is that you can go to the roof and take stunning pictures. There is also a small library on the second floor. There, you can read the book and take a cute picture.
As for the menu, it is quite traditional. The signature is their baked rice cake, it seems very traditional and the taste is sooooo good!
The furniture of this cafe seems antique. If you are interested in any of the stuff here, you can ask the owner if you want to buy it. The owner was also really friendly. We had a great discussion about the history of this cafe, he also owned a dog you can play with.

Ondo of the Day
(๊ทธ๋ ์ ์จ๋)
In contrast with Saekjang Rice Mill, Ondo of the Day is a cafe with a modern and futuristic architectural form. It is also located quite far from downtown Jeonju, but you can ride a bus or taxi to get there.

This cafe is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I felt calm when I came here because this cafe is surrounded by many trees and plants. There is also a pool in the middle of the cafe but you canโt swim there. This is a photo spot where visitors usually take photos because it shows you the entire architecture of the cafe.
This cafe is very spacious and you can spend some time here relaxing and having a chat with your friends. The drawback is, that the price of food and drinks here is quite expensive. Even so, you wonโt regret your visit here.

Masirange
(๋ง์๊ฐ๊ฒ)
The on our list of cafes in Jeonju that I recommend is Masirange. This cafe is located in Hanok Village so itโs easy to find.
This cafe became famous because of the famous photo spot on the second floor where people wearing hanbok take a picture. If you visit Hanok Village and wearing hanbok, donโt forget to come to this cafe to take a photo!

You can also feel the hanok architecture in this cafe. When I visited here, the cafe was very crowded and every visitor was lining up to take pictures at the photo spot. This photo spot is called Masirange secret gate, a round gate that seems to lead you to another world. From this photo spot, you can also see the beautiful scenery of Jeonjuโs Hanok Village.

This is a unique cafe recommendation in Jeonju from me. I really enjoyed the food and drinks as well as each of the different themes of the cafe when I visit here. Iโm sure you wonโt regret it.
