Nami Island- Gapyeong
Nami-seom (seomย means island) is a half-moon shaped island that sports lush greenery in the summer and vibrant colors in the fall. This makes for the perfect summer stroll on a shady lane of dense pine trees and redwoods. I personally have visited Nami-Island during fall seasons and it was just magnificent. Nami-island is beautiful in all the seasons. Which means you can go there whenever you want. While Nami Island is technically located in the Chuncheon district, it is conveniently included on the Gapyeong Tour Bus.ย
Gapyeong Rail Park
Another fun activity you can do is Gapyeong Rail Park. This Rail Park gives you the opportunity to peddle your way around the north of Han River through a romantic tree tunnel. On the tour, you will cross the Gapyeongcheon Stream Iron Bridge, Bukhanggang Iron Bridge, and pass through the Zelkova Tree Tunnel. The scenery is so breathe taking. The bikes are semi-automated, so you wonโt find yourself fatigued! The bike is perfect for two to four people.
Petite France
The last place you can visit in Gapyeong is the beautiful Petite France. Once you arrive to this place you will feel like you have been transported all the way to France. It is so calm you can see those little beautiful and colorful houses as well as you can have a cup of coffee while enjoying a perfect scenery. It is coined as a โUnique French Theme Park in Koreaโ and has a variety of cultural experience programs and performances to give you the feeling of walking around a small French town.
