If you’re a Seoulite who got hooked watching the K-Drama The World of The Married (2020), check out my previous article “The World Of The Married filming locations in Seoul.” However, if — like me — you don’t live in Seoul, don’t worry! This is the right place for you. The World of the Married follows the lives of a married couple, their betrayal of one another and the inevitable whirlwind of revenge that ensues. If you’re planning to explore cities and provinces outside of Seoul, then be sure to include these special locations in your itinerary!
Asosan Japanese Restaurant, Gyeonggi-do

In epsiodes 9 and 10, The World of The Married featured the Japanese restaurant Asosan as its backdrop. Here, we see CEO Yeo Byeong-kyu, played by Lee Kyeong-young, meet up with Dr. Kim Yoon-gi. The restaurant is actually a famous K-Drama filming location, appearing in Do You Like Brahms? (2020), Extracurricular (2020), Flower of Evil (2020), Hyena (2020), Melting Me Softly (2019), One Spring Night (2019), Sky Castle (2018) and What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018).

Daemyung Resort Vivaldi Park, Gangwon-do

Another iconic scene in the The World of The Married happened at Daemyung Resort Vivaldi Park. In episode 8 we see Sun-woo, rifle in hand, join some ladies for a game of clay pigeon shooting, including her ex-husband’s new wife, Da-kyung (Han So-hee.) While Vivaldi park is a huge multi-complex, these scenes were shot specifically at the Equestrian club. Furthermore, the site has appeared in other K-Dramas like Vincenzo (2021), The King: Eternal Monarch (2020) and Legend of the Blue Sea (2016).
You might find yourself at Vivaldi Park in the Winter for skiing. If so, check out this article with everything you need to know about Vivaldi Park! >> here <<

The interior is also shown when Kim Hye-jin (Hwang Jung-eum) and Ji Sung-joon (Park Seo-joon) read the children’s book from Hye-jin’s father’s publishing firm. Similarly, this site was used in other famous dramas, such as Lovestruck in the City (2020), It’s Okay to Not Be Okay (2020) and Romance is a Bonus Book (2019), to name just a few.
