The Ultimate Guide to Busan x The Sky

You wanna be on top? You wanna see the view of Haeundae beach and the beautiful city of Busan? All of that and more are waiting for you at X The Sky. If you are planning a trip to Busan and thinking what to add to your itinerary, read on.

Busan X The Sky

Busan X The Sky is located in Haeundae LCT the Sharp, the second highest building in Korea. The towering skyscraper was opened in summer 2020, offering possibly the best view of Busan, from 411.6m above sea level. This world-class attraction also features one of the fastest elevators, reaching the 100th floor in just 60 seconds.

1st Floor: Ticket Office & X The Photo

Once you’ve purchased your tickets, you can head straight to X The Photo, a special green screen photoshoot experience. Take the perfect souvenir photo, complete with special effects, to make the moment even more memorable. Next, its time to ascend to the 100th floor via the high speed elevator, it won’t take a moment!

100th Floor: Art & Culture Space

Now its your time to enjoy the most perfect views of Busan and probably one of the best views in Korea. Head over to the observation deck and look out of the windows, or — if you’re feeling brave — stand on the glass floor and look down below!

The sunshine and view of the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling windows makes my heart flutter. Whether you go up during the day or at night, you’re almost guaranteed a dazzling view, thanks to Busan’s clear air and mild climate. After enjoying the natural scenery, you can peruse the art exhibition.

99th Floor: Sky 99 Restaurant & Cafe

What’s the highlight of a vacation? The food. Of course, your trip to X The Sky should be no different. At 99 Sky, you can enjoy a New York-style steak with a selection of fine wine, pasta, grilled seafood and dessert. Your food will taste even more delicious with the rolling views of the ocean and the twinkling lights below. I recommend going at sunset!

Additionally, 99 Sky was the setting of the first episode of new K-Drama Now, We Are Breaking Up (2021). This is where main characters Yoon Jae-kook (Jang Ki-yong) and Ha Young-eun (Song Hye-kyo) meet for the first time.

Another popular tourist spot is here too: the highest Starbucks in the world! Enjoy your favourite Starbucks order with the view of Haeundae beach.

98th Floor: Sky Letter & Gift Shop

Finally, we have the 98th floor. Here, you’ll find the gift shop as well as an exciting observatory. Pick up an item of exclusive merchandise or souvenir. Additionally, you can take a special photo at Sky Letter.
