Need a place for a special occasion? Want to surprise someone? There is a place I would love to recommend that is perfect for any kind of special event, Thaibin in Busan. I discovered this Thai restaurant while I was out for a walk and I couldn’t help but be intrigued! It already looked so nice from afar but it is even better inside.
The building is pretty big. It has three floors and a lot of tables outside, including a few bungalows, which are like small rooms; they have a ceiling and a plastic covering which can be used to make them more private. So it is very suitable for those who worry about social distancing and safety when eating outside!
Every nook and cranny of the restaurant has been carefully decorated. From the beautiful trees and plants in the outdoor area to the beautiful decorations inside. Every floor is different. So, it really made me feel as if I was on a tropical Thailand getaway.
You can order a set or individual dishes! I would personally recommend sets for those who are not familiar with Thai food. The sets offer a diverse range of dishes and even the smallest ones include about three items.
Moreover, They also have a really diverse beverage menu! From sweet beverages to alcoholic ones, there is something for every kind of person.
The employees at Thaibin were really nice and were helpful in recommending some dishes. I had never tried Thai food before but I felt really comfortable thanks to the wait staffs’ kindness.
The food was great and the quantity was also enough. We ordered a set for two people but it was enough for us to be not just satisfied – we were stuffed!
We made a reservation beforehand when we went there. However, there were more than enough seats between the three floors. But, I would strongly recommend making a reservation to eat in the bungalows outside. There are not as many and, when we went there, all of them were fully booked. Reservation for the bungalows is available only for groups of 3 or more people.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Thaibin. The weather was good so we had lunch at the tables outdoors. The entire atmosphere made for the perfect Thai staycation experience.
Even though a little bit pricey, I highly recommend this place for special dates or events. Everything is perfect: the food, the service, and of course – the restaurant itself.
