Busan is the second biggest city of South Korea and it is also called the summer capital of Korea. I will talk about my one day with surfing and chilling on yacht in Busan.
And here is my itineration:
Surfing is a water sport that burns so much calories so we need to eat breakfast before doing that.
Prepare: sun cream, another underwear to change after surfing (I know that it’s a basic thing but I did forgot it that time) swimming suit/ surfing suit and surf board if you have (if you don’t have it you can rent it at the surfing rental shop at Songjeong beach).
My review will be more suitable with the beginner and for those who want to experience and learn how to surf. If you know surfing, you just need to take a surf board to Songjeong beach and then surf.
We choose Surf Holic for this experience. Here, they offer surfing suit, board, shower room and also surf lesson and surf coach. It’s so convenient.
At first the staff introduce facilities at Surf Holic then give us surf suit to change and then we go to another room to take a surf lesson. Finally we take a surf board to the beach.
Before jumping into the ocean we need to start our session with a lesson on the sand. The instructor acquaints us with our surfboard and how to position our body. We learn how to paddle and pop-up on the board. This way, we can learn the technique and practice a few times before surfing in the water.
After that we are out into the ocean. The instructor also helps each of us catch the waves and surf.
It’s really an amazing experience in the morning.
Fee: 65,000krw/2 hours.

We have lunch at Ildeungga and the menu is duck bulgogi. This restaurant is famous with duck bulgogi and it is awarded as “excellent” for hygiene by Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
This restaurant has mainly two kinds of bulgogi on the menu; soybean sauce and gochujang sauce duck bulgogi with three sets available: a family set for 52,000 won, a couple set for 39,000 won. If you want more, you can order the additional mini set for 22,000 won.
After enjoying fully duck meat, we order bokkeumbap and they mix it with the leftover meat, which is pan-fried right on the table so yummy and we really get full.
