While Nonsan is not a popular tourist destination among foreigners, the city has decided to change this reality. By creating new areas that can potentially bring lots of visitors just as they want. And one of these, is โGanggyeong Gurakbuโ. Where Stay Interview Coffeehouse is located. Becoming a key site that is expected to bring attention to Ganggyeong: an important town when it comes to history.
Without further ado, let us take a look into this cafe!

A Modern Cafe in a Historic Town
While the cafe itself is enough beautiful to attract visitors, there is another fact that gives it value: it is located at the historic town of Ganggyeong. Undoubtedly, one of the most important areas of Nonsan when we think about the past. As it was one of the nationโs top three ports during the Japanese occupation. Plus it keeps the past alive as some buildings from that era remain intact. Reason to why this town seems to be stuck in the old days.
However, every city needs to develop sooner or later. With that on mind, โGanggyeong Gurakbuโ was built. A place that has accommodation facilities and cafes, following the vintage theme of the city. Specifically, that is where you can find โStay Interview Coffeehouseโ. Playing an important role on bringing tourists to this unknown town.
Now let us introduce you this place in depth!
Menu
From coffee to tea, you can find plenty of drinks. So as some delicious desserts to delight your palate.
Although this cafe is on the expensive side, believe me. It is worth the price once you see how beautiful the place is!

They have some cakes and cookies on display. Which are difficult to ignore due to how yummy they look. Due to that, anyone would end up buying at least one cookie without even thinking! That is for sure.

Just like any other cafe, they sell their own goods. In this case, coffee bags.

Review
Exterior
Pictures will not ever make justice as how beautiful this place looks in real life. Even the nature that surrounds it, makes it more charming.

With its old-fashioned red bricks and green tones, it could catch anyoneโs attention due to how harmonious it looks, thanks to the perfect color combination that makes it stand out and blend nicely with the blue sky.

In general, this cultural complex of โGanggyeong Gurakbuโ follows the same theme as Sunshine Land. Being the representative theme of Nonsan city. That is why it seems to be a place that could appear anytime in these type of historic dramas.

Needless to say, they have some tables outside for those who prefer eating their desserts while enjoying the beautiful view of these antique buildings.

Interior
Atmosphere
As soon as you enter Stay Interview Coffeehouse, you will feel mesmerized as how aesthetically pleasing it is. With all the vintage decors that make you feel as if you were actually living in those modern times.
Of course, before anything else, you must register yourself in the list. As a COVID prevention method.
Every corner of this place is a perfect photo zone. So here you can complete your whole photo shoot of Ganggyeong Gurakbu! Which is basically the reason why people tend to visit this area: to take great photos and make memories!
But besides taking pictures, trying their desserts and drinks is something that you cannot miss. As everything they sell looks incredibly delicious. Especially those cookies!
The neat and old-fashioned design of this place, makes it difficult to choose where to seat. You definitely need to pick a table wisely though. Since this place nowadays gets a lot of customers. So do not let them grab your favorite one!
I could tell that they really followed the theme of Nonsanโs main attraction. Which is Nonsan Sunshine Land. Since the interior design of this place was not so different to what I have seen at its photo studio.

With that in mind, you can complete your whole retro experience in this cultural complex and cafe! As the icing of the cake to your trip.
Food
Even though the desserts look enough delicious to immediately grab your attention, what I first noticed were the beautiful plates. That makes the experience even fancier!

Vanilla Latte
As we saw on the menu before, this place sells vast of drinks. So you might be wondering โwhy a simple vanilla latteโ? Well, the answer is simple: seeing a great variety of drinks made me order the first thing I saw, in panic! Despite that, I do not regret it. You cannot never miss when it comes to this coffee flavor.
The taste was actually very nice. Not too sweet, just how I like it! Plus the size of the cup was bigger than some other cafes I have gone before in this area.
White Macadamia Fudge Cookie
I got excited as soon as I saw that they sell this flavor of cookie, as it is my favorite! So as expected, I enjoyed every bite of it. The only thing that makes me wonder if it was a good idea or not to order it, was the expensive price. Anyways, I was very satisfied with its sweetness.

Ganggyeong Gurakbu
As we mentioned before, the best part of coming to this cafe, is that it is located in a new cultural complex called โGanggyeong Gurakbuโ. Which have some other interesting facilities for you to enjoy!
