This festival takes place only once a year.
A very beautiful festival and peculiar only to Korea (Perhaps similar festivals are held in both China and Japan, but I’m not sure). They made very beautiful fairy-tale characters from paper. From my acquaintances, I saw “Puss in Boots”, “The Nutcracker” and a couple of characters from popular Korean fairy tales that we taught. And it translated into our native language at the university.
Some clips from the festival
Volunteers in the uniform are on duty along the river so that people don’t fall and damage themselves. It is because a lot of people come to this festival and it can be dangerous if it gets too crowded. As you know, people want to take a closer look at the figures and take pictures with them. But we must not forget that safety comes first.
Seoul International Fireworks Festival
This is a very beautiful festival. Many of us are looking forward especially children and lovers. On the day, people from all around the country gather and not only Seoul. They come from cities that are not far from the capital.
