Goodbye snow and ski trips, Hello to warmer weather and roller skating~ Letās bring it back old school with our two wheels, shaky legs and pop music.
Whether youāre looking for a fun activity to do in Seoul or want to destress, Roller skating is ideal for you. Although it doesnāt seem as a popular activity in Seoul, it exists i promise. And you can see more and more kids in the parc skateboarding which is pretty cool and less embarrassing if you wan to do it in public.
You may not know it but Seoul has different places where you can roller skate. You can get your tickets there, price may differ depending on the amount of time you are spending there. The places usually got you covered by including the safety gear that youāll need in the price as well as the roller skates!

If you love skating outdoor, you can enjoy the view and breathe some air at Hangang Riverside ParkĀ offers bicycle paths where in-line skating is possible. The asphalt/concreteĀ trail goes from Yeouido to Gangdong. The park also hasĀ two outdoor skating rinks, for both in-line and roller skating ā Ichon-dong and Jamsil (just north of the stadium).
If youāre looking to try longboarding, there arenāt a lot of places in Seoul where you can ārentā and try one of them out. Fortunately, near exit 1 of Ttukseom Hangang Park you will spot EURO Wheel. Itās a rental shop that offers a wide array of items including striders, electric scooters and most importantly, skateboards and longboards. Skateboards and cruisers will cost 5,000 won by the hour while longboards will be 10,000 won by the hour. Helmets will cost an extra 2,000 won. Head over to Ttukseom Hangang Park and join the longboard movement!
