Seecha is a cafe in Gimpo that touches on all of Korea’s biggest trends at once. A cafe with organic baked goods, Instagram-ready drinks, a “healing” exterior, AND puppy photo zones. If that’s not the recipe for a Korean trend I don’t know what is!
Puppy Friendly
We all know cafe culture is definitely one of the biggest reasons why coffee lovers fall in love with Korea. But, what happens to someone who is a dog owner AND loves coffee just as much?
Well, until recently, pet owners had to leave their fur babies at home. Thankfully, with the rise of pet ownership, there are more and more pet-friendly cafes and restaurants popping up all over Korea. So much so that some cafes are dedicated to our furry friends with tons of space to run, play and even train with speed obstacles.
In the search to find my pup and me a place we could equally enjoy, I stumbled upon Seecha. It’s a gorgeous cafe in the middle of Gimpo. It has a healing interior that I could enjoy as well as plenty of space for my fur baby to enjoy. Plus, this cafe lets you bring not only your fur babies but your human kids too. So if you are looking for an enjoyable place to let your kids run around, this is the perfect spot.
The Owner of Cafe Seecha
This cafe is owned by a former Asiana Airlines pilot who is a dog owner himself. During the pandemic, the pilot decided to make a big career change. Of course, there were fewer flights and suddenly the once vibrant and reliable travel industry became far more uncertain.
He opened Seecha in Gimpo, a city known as being home to the busiest domestic airport in Korea. It was built to be the perfect staycation. The cafe is excellently laid out and it has different spaces that cater to different kinds of people.
The Beauty of Cafe Seecha
As soon as you step into the cafe you are welcomed by huge ground-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of the terrace. There are some stalls with several seats and a photo zone with a little swing where of course I didn’t miss taking a picture of my puppy.

The cafe consists of three different spaces. On the first floor, you can order your food and chill inside with AC on in a nice, calming atmosphere.

Then there is B1, a terrarium-inspired interior with tons of hidden photo spots. I will not spoil this for you guys but, check out the bathrooms! The bathrooms are amazing!!
Cafe Seecha Grounds
Last but not least it’s the terrace where most pup owners and families with children go. There is a huge grass space where my puppy enjoyed running and playing nonstop while we drank amazing coffee and tea.
The terrace has some lights that light up after 7 pm that creates a beautiful mood for a sunset dinner. Also, there is a small lake with a fountain and different pathways for you to enjoy a stroll around.
This cafe truly is an all-rounder!
Cafe Seecha Menu
Now, for the menu! It’s not only affordable considering the space, but also delicious and health conscious. Most of their baked goods use organic flours and brown sugar. Their highlighted baked goods are the carrot cake and the scones which come in different flavors like earl gray and lemon, matcha, or plain (enjoyed with some jam ofc).
They offer different drinks and their specialties are fruit smoothies, affogato coffee, and their amazing Jeju Matcha latte. (I bet they poured some condensed milk or coconut milk because it was delicious!)

Cafe Seecha Rating
Overall I would rate this place a 9/10 for the kindness of the staff, amazing layout, and diverse spaces. The only reason why this place is not a 10/10 for me it’s because unless you have a car is not easily accessible, otherwise, this would be a place I would go every weekend if I could!
