Pub Piano is a pub in Seoul, around the Hapjeong area, with a nice atmosphere, and a great selection of beer and snacks. Itโs one of those places that you can really call a neighborhood pub. Plus, it has a piano where live music is always being played, be it by the owner, or one of the pubโs regulars.
The Pub

Pub Piano lives for its name. The main point of the place is the actual piano that was placed in a nice corner of the pub. Not only does the owner knows how to play it, but also musical guests are invited weekly to play. Other than this, guests are also more than welcome to have the spotlight for a moment.
Also, I have to point out that the owner is incredibly nice. He made sure that my group and I were feeling welcomed and comfortable! He even made small talk with us and asked how we found out about the pub.
Overall, the atmosphere is very chill. Itโs the perfect place to hang out with friends or go on a date.
Drinks

This place seemed very affordable to me. Local brands like Cass or Terra go for 4,000 Won. After this, they have beers such as Guinness and Hoegaarden available for between the prices of 7,000 and 9,000 Won.
They also have bottles of whiskey if you are more into hard liquors. The cheapest one goes for 90,000 Won, while the high shelf is 380,000 Won.
The Food
For happy hour, they offer individual dishes for as little as 5,000 Won. Bokkeumbap and ramyeon are one of those.
Now for the menus for drinking, they offer salads, chicken, sausages, fried foods, soups, and stews. The menu even has some salmon-based dishes, which a thought was a nice touch.ย The prices are from 11,000 to 19,000 Won, and the portions can be divided between two people.
When I went there, we tried a dish with many fried foods. However, as a courtesy, the owner gave us a couple of little dishes full of peanuts and other nuts!
Location and Working Hours
The Pub Piano is located within a walking distance of the Hapjeong Station. The exact address is ์์ธํน๋ณ์ ๋งํฌ๊ตฌ ์ํ๋ก6๊ธธ 76 (or โ76 Yanghwa-ro 6-gil, Mapo-gu, Seoulโ in English).
As for the working hours, this is also one of the best things about this pub, because it stays open until very late!
The official work hours are from 6 pm to 5 am, every day, although I know that some days they can be open during lunchtime also. In any case, you can always give them a call to make sure of those lunchtime hours. So if you want to hang out with your friends, or continue a date, this is an option!
