Private Lives Filming Locations in Seoul

These issues are part of the plot of the 2020 Korean drama “Private Lives” starring Seohyun and Go Kung-pyo. Furthermore, the story revolves around the lives of swindlers who got their hands on secret information that could harm the nation.

Boiling Pot

First on this list is the Boilig Pot (brewing company) where Detective Kim Myung-hun (Lee Hak-joo) meets with Cha Joo-eun (Seohyun) in episode 10 of Private Lives.

Caffe on the Plan

While on the 3rd episode of the series, Lee Jung-hwan (Go Kyung-pyo) works remotely at Caffe on the Plan while instructing his teams.

Cafe de Bodyfriend

In episode 2 of Private Lives, Cha Joo-eun meets with Han-son (Tae Won-seock) at Cafe de Bodyfriend to talk about his offer to work again in a new “documentary”.

Coffee Court

Another coffee shop filming location of this drama is the Coffee Court. Lee Jung-hwan and Cha Joo-eun come to this cafe to buy coffee in episode 2. Coffee Court is located at Digital Media City, Korea’s media and IT hub which is a famous Kdrama filming location. Read more about it here.

Duksung Girls’ High School

JTBC Building

The building of JTBC, which aired Private Lives, was also featured in the series as the UI Telecom building as seen in episode 2. This building is also located at Digital Media City.

Korea House

This series also featured the restaurant Korea House in episode 7 where Kim Jae-wook (Kim Young-Min) meets assemblyman Yoo Byung-jun (Min Ji-oh) for a drink. It is a restaurant and cultural venue that showcases the beauty of traditional Korean cuisine and culture.

Master Seoul

In episode 2 of Private Lives, Cha Joo-eun meets her friend Jang Min-jeong (Jang Jin-hee) at Master Seoul after her release from prison. There she also meets Lee Jung-hwan.

Parnas Tower

If the IU building is actually the JTBC building, the GK Technology building is actually the Parnas Tower in Gangnam. This building was featured in episode when Joo-eun starts looking for Jung-hwan. Parnas Tower is located near the Starfield COEX Mall.

The Skyfarm

Moreover, The Skyfarm also appeared on the 10th episode of Private Lives where Jeong Bok-gi (Kim Hyo-jin) and Cha Joo-eun (Seohyun from Girls Generation/Seo Ju-hyun) meet to talk. The Skyfarm consists of four places: a dining brand The Storage, Someone’s Storage, All day Fresh Kitchen (Semoa), and The Promenade which can hold various parties and weddings.

Yulgok-ro 3-gil

And lastly, a major turning point in the relationship of Lee Jung-hwan and Cha Joo-eun happens at Yulgok-ro 3-gil when they walk down this street near Duksung Girls’ High School in episode 2.
