OLZE Pension is located in Ganghwa Island, West of Korea on a hill overlooking the Yellow Sea.
Ganghwa Island is technically part of Incheon, but is 2 bridges away from the busy city. Because it is on the West coast, it is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset and enjoy a peaceful vacation without needing to travel far from Seoul.

OLZE Pension is a family-run pension with a bespoke stay on offer. There are 7 rooms in total, all slightly different, but each with their own private hot tub and barbecue!

As a couple, we booked a duplex room, featuring a private space with kitchen, TV, bathroom and dining area, an upstairs bedroom nook and a private veranda with hot tub and barbecue.

The bathroom was well-stocked with necessary toiletries and so it didnโt matter that we had forgotten toothpaste! The room was clean and spacious with a bright, colourful interior that lit up with the morning light.

The public facilities were also convenient, with 2 outdoor pools, heated and unheated. However, we loved our private hot tub so much we didnโt end up having a dip in the pools!
In order to use your private barbecue, you should buy some charcoal from the owner (15,000 won) and bring your own meats and side dishes. In fact, the owner was very kind and helpful and gave us many travel recommendations both at the pension and for the surrounding area. One thing to noteโฆ Do not add any soap or bubble bath to the hot tub!
