During my year in South Korea, I discovered that many Koreans enjoy visiting rooftop cafes in Busan. At first, I thought it was questionable because I couldn’t tell the difference between having my drink in or outside, in Seoul or in Busan. However, as I began traveling outside of Seoul, I was able to understand. Many of the rooftop coffee shops I visited in Seoul were overcrowded, the rooftop space was limited, and many of the views were a swamp of buildings. However, In Busan, you are greeted by a beautiful light blue sky and a sandy beach below. As a result, rooftop cafes in Busan are great to visit. In my opinion, these are three of the most stunning rooftop coffee shops in Busan.
Gonggeuk Sand: Classiest of Rooftop Cafes in Busan
The coffee shop Gonggeuk Sand is quite large. The fact that the coffee shop is located throughout the entire building distinguishes it from the other two. Even the coffee shop’s outside reflects the classy concept that they are attempting to portray. The coffee shop features both indoor and outdoor seating. But – their rooftop is to die for!
Although it is a nice coffee shop to visit in the winter, it is much prettier in the summer. This is due to the fact that they have outside seating directly on the beach, as well as a great patio where you can bring your children to have fun.
They also have unique drinks like Turmeric Latte and Dutch Lemon that you won’t find anywhere else. I strongly advise you to visit throughout each of the four seasons.
Gonggeuk Sand Coffee Address: 41 Gongsuhaean-gil, Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan Korean address: 부산 기장군 기장읍 공수해안길 41 Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Cup&Cup: Best Bridge View
Cup & Cup offers the best views of the iconic Gwangalli bridge of all the rooftop cafes in Busan. It is a big spacious coffee shop in Busan. The coffee shop is on both the 4th and 5th floors. There is also a rooftop, which is ideal for hot summer days. However, if you don’t mind the cold, it can also be used in the winter.
This coffee shop’s selling point is its location, which is directly across from the Gwangalli bridge. The beauty of the Gwangalli beach can clearly be seen from the high floors, which explains why it is so popular.
The inside of the coffee shop is modest but tidy, with large windows facing the beach. The beach stands out against the basic white interior. The interior results in the perfect photos without producing too much unbalance. It results in the finest site for people to shoot beautiful, elegant photographs with Gwangalli Beach in the background.
Cup & Cup Address: Busan, Suyeong-gu, Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, 177 Korean address: 부산 수영구 광안해변로 177 4층, 5층 Operating Hours: 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
Goyouhan: Most Pet-Friendly of Rooftop Cafes in Busan
Goyouhan is a beautiful coffee cafe in Busan with a beautiful beach view. The coffee shop sits on the 10th floor, making it the greatest site to see Busan from above.
All of the drinks and sweets are presented in a very sophisticated and opulent manner. The plating, in my opinion, makes the drinks and desserts appear to be ten times more expensive than they are.
I believe that this coffee shop is one of the best locations to visit in Busan because it is unique. In my opinion, the coffee shop is ideal for a date with your significant other. However, if you have small children I recommend finding someone to watch them because the coffee shop has a strict no-children policy. They do, however, allow pets. Another great feature of this place is that it includes parking, which is a dream come true for anyone who has a car.
Goyuhan Address: Busan, Suyeong-gu, Namcheondong-ro 108(baekpal)be, 38 Korean address: 부산 수영구 남천동로108번길 38 골든비치 9, 10층 Operating Hours: 11:30 AM - 10:00 PM
