Daehan is a cinema multiplex located near Chungmuro Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. The theatre served as the center of culture and cinema in Seoul since 1955, known for its large screens. Once just a theatre, Daehan was transformed into a multi-story cineplex in 2001.

Daehan Theatre Sky Rose Garden
For a special viewing experience, you can attend movie screenings outside on the rooftop of Daehan Theatre. Additionally, the rooftop is known as the Sky Rose Garden, lined with beautiful roses as well as a panoramic view of Jung-gu. If youโre not feeling a movie, you can visit the sky garden free of charge from 9:00am โ 8:30pm.

Every year the sky garden rooftop is transformed into a open air cinema called โCinegardenโ.
The special Cinegarden event is typically held during Spring and Summer, every Friday and Saturday evenings. A huge variety of movies are screened here, so youโre sure to find one that suits you. Simply check the schedule and book your ticket (approx. 14,000 KRW pp) via the official Daehan Multiplex website.
