As always, I was looking for new ways to make friends. I am an introvert, but I like the comfort of making friends. I tend to look for people with whom I can talk easily and am comfortable around.
Finding an App for Making Friends

I am pretty sure that, by now, you know that Tinder is no place to find friends. I even tried MEEF, but that app was just not for me. So, I started wondering if Iโd ever find some platform made to make friends โ solely. I wanted something that worked as swiftly as other social apps do, minus the unwanted strange messages from the opposite sex.
I ended up stumbling with Moji just by chance. It was an ad on Instagram that led me to it. It stated that the person who had downloaded it made good friends. So I went at it โobviously.
Moji: App Introduction
Being an app for making friends, I assumed everyone would speak English. However, to my surprise, Moji turned out to be an app for exchanging languages. When creating an account, I put on my profile which languages I was comfortable with speaking and texting, and which ones I am learning.

So, according to my target languages, I could find people to exchange languages with. It also asks for preferences in music, hobbies, activities, and more. Furthermore, I could add a little profile on my bio, so that I could introduce myself to new friends. Voilรก! I was all set to start making friends.
You can also start chatting right away with someone, without waiting to match them. However, they have to accept your message request first. It is a safe way to make sure you only talk to people you want to, and who want to talk to you. Another good feature that it has is the blocking system. With this, you can block certain people if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
Moji: Making Friends
This app has allowed me to make Korean friends as well as other friends around the world who are also learning the languages that I am learning! Moji has been a good way for me to find people that are struggling with the same things I am. Plus, it also helps people who are learning either Spanish or English. Everyone can help each other feel more comfortable in their own language-learning journey.

So, if you are looking for a new way to exchange languages and make friends โKorean or from other countriesโ I highly recommend Moji as a platform to do so! Who knows? Maybe you will find good friends for life.
