Have you ever tried to make a ceramic product with your own hands? Or maybe ceramics is your hobby? If you live in Suncheon, then I would recommend you try to make your own ceramics.
Preparation
When you arrive, an instructor will meet you. Please note that it is quite cold inside, so if you are traveling during the cold season, dress warmly.
Inside the room, everything is already prepared for each participant: a mix for making, a special stone board for preparing the mixture, special tools to draw what you want, and a rolling pin.

The consistency had to be prepared for work, so we cut it into small pieces, and then rolled it out with a rolling pin. Having prepared the form, it was possible to make a plate or a cup. After creating the shape, you can use the knives to create a pattern. At this stage, nothing else needs to be done, just wait a while for it to dry. To decorate your product even more, you can mold other objects (leaves, flowers, animals, etc.). To do this, you will need to use some clay to glue.
Modeling on the Potterโs Wheel

Another part of the program is using the potterโs wheel to make cups or vases or any other deep-bottomed item. A special wet clay is given to make it convenient to change the shape. Next, the potterโs wheel is turned on and after that, you need to create a form. In the beginning, with the help of your fingers, you need to make a hole inside.

Then you need to create the desired shape from the outside by using your hands. You only need to move your hands up and down to form the shape you want to get. Everything is really easy and takes no more than 10 minutes. One of the recommendations is to go for a cultural experience during warm weather because the space is cold, and the consistency is cold too, so hands can quickly freeze.
Conclusion

The entire cultural program takes an average of one hour. But the more people participate at the same time, and the more complex figure you want to mold, the more time it will take. The participation fee is 35,000 Won. This price includes all supplies and two clay figures. Once completed, the instructors will collect your items from you and send them to you later via delivery within 2 weeks. Because you need to complete the process to the end to prepare for use (firing, drying, painting, etc.).
