Still Books
Definitely, my favorite library in Seoul.
Not known by many as it is located inside a cultural space called Sounds Urban Resort Hannam.
“Still Books” is a bookstore created by JOH, the publisher of Korea’s famous B MAGAZINE. To my pleasure, I can find here all the English editions of the B Magazine.
The store has a broad selection of big bookstores with the independent spirit of small bookstores. It features a varied selection of Korean novels and magazines from overseas beautifully arranged across the store’s spacious four floors.
Beside books, the store exhibits a variety of items by theme:
Each month the entire shop’s selection changes to suit the monthly theme and past themes included food, travel, and more.
Used books
If you’re looking for second-hand books, Seoul has many hidden gems for a bargain.
Seoul Book Repository is the city’s first public secondhand bookstore,. It is located in Songpa-gu and opened in 2019. The place offers a wide range of used books.
Built into the rows of iron-frame bookshelves, creating a tunnel, it quickly became an instagrammable place.
