The LEGOLAND Korea Resort is officially scheduled to open in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do on the 5th May 2022, Merlin Entertainment announces.
The amusement park conglomerate announced plans for the resort in 2019 and after much anticipation, the LEGOLAND Korea Resort official opening date has been scheduled.
May 5th 2022 was chosen with intention to coincide with Childrenโs Day, which is celebrated on this day every year. Childrenโs Day is a designated public holiday in Korea and amusement parks are a common activity for families at this time.
Along with announcement of the official opening date, the 7 themed areas of LEGOLAND Korea Resort were unveiled: โBricktopiaโ, โBrick Streetโ, โLEGOยฎ Cityโ, โLEGOยฎ Ninjagoโ, โPirate Shoreโ, โLEGOยฎ Castleโ and โMINILANDโ.
LEGOLAND Korea Resort, the 10th LEGOLAND Resort worldwide, will be the ultimate LEGO experience for children aged 2-12, as well as adults who love LEGOยฎ. LEGOLAND Korea Resort will be a premier family destination and authentic LEGO experience with more than 40 rides, shows and attractions, as well as the unique LEGOLAND Hotel with 154 rooms.
