The amusement park conglomerate announced plans for the resort in 2019 and after much anticipation, the LEGOLAND Korea Resort official opening date has been scheduled.
May 5th 2022 was chosen with intention to coincide with Children’s Day, which is celebrated on this day every year. Children’s Day is a designated public holiday in Korea and amusement parks are a common activity for families at this time.
Along with announcement of the official opening date, the 7 themed areas of LEGOLAND Korea Resort were unveiled: ‘Bricktopia’, ‘Brick Street’, ‘LEGO® City’, ‘LEGO® Ninjago’, ‘Pirate Shore’, ‘LEGO® Castle’ and ‘MINILAND’.
