Korean Pudding Hair Dye Launches Vegan Line

The company behind the famous Korean pudding hair color, EZN recently launched a new vegan line of products. If you are looking to change your color, and want to do your part for the environment, try out these new formulas!

Changing it Up in the Summer

Are you looking for activities you want to do this summer but don’t want to go outside because it’s getting really hot? Or perhaps you are bored and want to try something new but you are not sure what to do. Why not experiment with your hair color in the comfort of your home for a new look this summer!

I’m a student, so I have a tight budget but love expressing myself through my hair. An easy way I’ve found to save money is by avoiding hair salons. Cuts aren’t too expensive, but dying your hair in Korea? Get ready to drop 100,000 won or more! Because salons here in Korea can be very expensive, I use EZN’s at-home dye instead.

If you’re at all interested in Korean hair products, for sure you have heard about bubble hair color. But what about pudding hair color and their newly released vegan line? All of them are accessible even if you live abroad through Olive Young’s international site.

EZN’s pudding hair color is one of the most popular hair dyes in South Korea. However, its vegan line was recently launched in July 2022. It is set to become the next biggest thing in Korean hair products!

Pudding Hair Color

Although already popular in South Korea for several years, pudding hair color recently gained international recognition worldwide. This is mainly due to its partnership with Taeyeon from Girl’s Generation (SNSD). She is the product’s official endorser. And, some of the packages even include a limited edition photo card with the product!

Personal Experience

I’ve been using bubble hair color for years, but this is the first time I have used pudding hair color and I am more pleased with the outcome. I must say that the pudding hair color is easier to apply than bubble hair dye. This product is also ammonia-free and has no odor, making it safe to use even if you have sensitive skin.

The instructions were also pretty straightforward. It was the same as any other permanent hair color you can buy in beauty stores. After mixing the #1 and #2 liquids together in the box, shake carefully for about 2-3 minutes. Then, you are ready to apply the pudding formula to your hair.

Once you are done applying the whole product, you leave it on your hair for 20-30 minutes. Then, you wash it out, and enjoy your new look.

One thing I love about this product, in comparison to the bubble hair color, is that it doesn’t leak easily. This is perfect for avoiding stains on your clothes. You can see a better color result depending on your hair length and the original color. For short hair, you can use just 1 package of the product. However, for medium hair 2-3 packs are needed. Finally, for long hair 4-5 packs may be needed.

The packaging also contains a hair treatment cream to prevent hair from being damaged. You can use it as your conditioner after dying.

EZN Vegan Hair Color

This month, EZN launches six vegan hair colors and vegan oil shampoo designed specifically for extremely damaged hair. So, if you are a vegan, you should definitely try this product.

So far, EZN has launched six colors. There is Natural black, ash black ash brown, lavender brown, rose brown, and choco brown. All of them are fairly natural, and a few have playful tints that can still be worn in a professional environment. Every product in this line is ammonia, paraffin, triclosan, THB, and gluten-free. Plus, the products are not tested on animals.

The smell of these products is said to be much better than that of other dyes. It is scented with rosemary, chamomile, and peony.

Overall, the product is great for environmentally conscious consumers, those with sensitive skin, and those who don’t like conventional hair dye because of the smell. For now, it is only being sold in Korea, but hopefully, it will become available internationally soon.
