After nearly two years of the pandemic K-Pop concerts are back! With new national guidelines, live events are beginning to start again. However a lot has changed. Join me on my journey to watch ATEEZ live and in-person. Letโs see what this new world of post-pandemic K-Pop concerts has in store!โฅ

K-pop Events in Korea are gradually starting to be held again. However, because of Pandemic, all have restrictions on participation.
I recently went to the ATEEZ concert during a time when cases were increasing in Korea. The concert took place over 3 days in Seoul from January 7th to January 9th, 2022 at the Olympic Hall.
Regulations Regarding K-Pop Concerts
- You need to full vaccinated.
- If you were vaccinated outside of Korea: It was necessary to present a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test performed within 48 hours before the event.
- Use PFF2 or N95 mask during the show.
- Not allowed to sing or clap during the groupโs presentation to avoid the spread of disease.
- All seats must be spaced at least one chair apart.
Organization of K-Pop Concerts During the pandemic
Outside the Olympic Hall there were separate tents for collecting gifts, tickets, checking documentation and entry. In accordance with social distancing rules, there were no groups or large queues allowed.
I picked up my ticket from a ticket booth. There were 5 attendants for all types of tickets, which made the whole process easy.
Then I had to show the attendant my documents. They checked that my ticket and passport information matched, as well as my vaccine and negative PCR test.

Note: For all K-POP events in Korea, especially concerts, the ticket is nominal. So one person cannot buy a ticket for another person. Your name, passport or ID number and seat number will be printed on your ticket.
The entire process of entering and accessing the venue was smooth. I found my until seat where I would watch the show, without encountering any large groups or queues. Which, ensured my safety and gave me comfort while participating in the event.
K-Pop Concerts: Gifts
Many K-pop events in Korea include free gifts for participation. This K-pop concert did not disappoint!
For ATEEZ concert, I received:
- 1 personalized hot pack (hand warmer);
- 1 castanet (since clapping or singing was not allowed due to restrictions, we used castanets to interact with the artist)

ATEEZ Concert
I really enjoyed the show! It was a lot of fun and a great experience even in the face of the pandemic.

I was close to the stage so it was possible to see the group members up close and I could interact as much as I was allowed. In Korea, all participants are accommodated in their own seats. And so, it was very comfortable to watch and not miss any details of the presentation.
The eventโs production and organization team followed all the rules to a T. It made me feel safe and more comfortable than usual. I really enjoyed participating in this experience!
Despite the current scenario, it is possible to participate in K-pop events in Korea again as long as we adhere to a few simple restrictions. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be and the social distancing restrictions actually made K-pop concerts more comfortable.
