About Jeonpo Art Market
The Jeonpo Art Market is a weekend art market that features the works of local artists in Busan. It is located right at Dongcheon Gingko Tree Street. You will not only delight your eyes by purchasing items for personal use or for gifts, but you will also get to support the local artists in pursuing their love for art!
What to Buy from Jeonpo Art Market
There is a wide selection of items from the art market which includes artsy accessories, candles, pouches, pet clothes, phone cases and other art crafts handmade by local artists. Here are some of the cute and eye-candy items that I found when I went there:
The designs of the phone cases are unique and you can even ask the artist to draw you and put the design in your customized phone case. Surely, you are the only one in the world who will have that uniquely designed phone case!
Do you want to have your own animated portrait? Then this place is definitely for you! The artist is so skillful in turning your photo into animated version of you. This is also a perfect gift for your loved ones who want to keep their portrait, but in an artistic style.
Are you looking for a one-of-a-kind ring for yourself or for your special someone? These wooden rings might fit your style! They come in different designs, colors and sizes.
Hello Kitty-designed Cute Items
You can also find super cute Hello Kitty-designed items in various shapes and colors. These are so cute you won’t be able to resist buying them all! There’s even a mirror that looks like an edible cake.
Griptoks or phone gripholders are considered phone necessity nowadays so why not buy one for yourself or for your loved one. Another amazing things is that these griptoks can also be customized. You can either use your own design or picture. Or folllow whatever your heart wants!
Are you a fan of miniature character displays? These character displays are so cute you will surely end up buying them!
The Jeonpo Art Market is located next to the well-known Jeonpo Cafe Street in Busan. So if you happen to go there to grab a cup of Jeonpo coffee, you can check the art market for yourself. In 2017, this this location was just beside the venue for ASEAN-ROK Food Expo which showcased different cuisines from the participating ASEAN countries. However, note that due to COVID-19 protocols and restrictions, the art market have been inactive in their operations.
How to get there
- Take Busan subway and get off at Jeonpo Station (Metro line 2), exit 7.
- Then Turn left and walk straight until the next traffic signal. Turn right and walk until you see the market.
