One of the Korean dramas who captured the hearts of many viewers in 2020 is the Itaewon Class starring Park Seo-joon, Kim Da-mi, Yoo Jae-myung and Kwon Nara. It is actually based on a webtoon which follows the life of Park Sae-Ro-Yi (Park Seo-Joon) who has a series of misfortunate events. Despite being jailed, he strives to open a restaurant bar in order to avenge his father’s death by beating Korea’s largest food corporation. He then meets interesting characters along the way and they work together in building their company named I.C. (Itaewon Class) Co.
Aside from Itaewon, some of the scenes from Itaewon Class were also filmed in different areas around the city. So if you are planning on a trip to Seoul, here is a list of Itaewon filming locations that you can easily visit.
The first place on this list is the Banpo Bridge which appeared in a few episodes of the series. The Banpo Bridge is known for its Rainbow Fountain which has 380 water jets that dance in dazzling and illuminating multi-colored lights. This spectacular fountain show is the main attraction of the bridge which charms the tourists both locals and foreigners. In addition to the water and ever-changing lights, the fountain show is also accompanied by synchronized music which lasts for 20 minutes. Read more about it here.
Another filming location of Itaewon Class is the House No.7 which appeared in episode 16. Jo Yi-seo (Kim Da-mi) and Park Sae-ro-yi (Park Seo-joon) pass by this building and stop to take some cute photos of them. The building houses Jack’s Bar, a bar by famous whisky brand Jack Daniel’s.
