As any other big touristic cities, there are plenty of option for accommodation. However, some of these are either overpriced or far away from the main attractions. Well, that is not the case…

Amenities

There is a flat-screen TV. Where not only you can enjoy shows from a great variety of channels. But also check the menu and other services of the hotel.

And in case you did not bring your adapter, do not worry! As they have chargers in every rooms.

Of course, an electric kettle could not be missed. So every morning you are able to enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea.

But in case you prefer something cold, there is a mini fridge. Where they leave two bottles of water everyday. For free, of course.

Above it, there is a security box. And both things are placed inside the closet. Which has hangers.

Something that I really like is that the air conditioner is great! Because it can get pretty cold according to what you like. As you are able to manage the temperature by yourself.

But to turn it on ㅡ so as the rest of the electricity ㅡ you must place your key card.

Services

Laundry

Do not worry! Here you will not have to bring a crazy amount of clothes. Since they have laundry service. Meaning that you can bring only the basics. As you will be able to wash them and re-use. However, this service has additional fee. According to the quality and material of your clothes.

Needless to say, you must place them inside the bag that they give you.

Facilities

Gym

Although the gym was small, I found it perfect! Since I am the type of person that does not like to do exercise when there is many people. Here, it in fact feels exclusive.

Especially if you are with your partner. As you will have the room for only both of you.

In front, you can find the sauna. In case you want to relax after doing exercise.

Sauna

However, the sauna was closed. Due to COVID.

Still, we found a picture of how it looks on the inside. Is it not the perfect place to relax? Plus you have a view to the Namsan tower! Who would not like to stay there the whole day? Too bad it is closed temporarily due to COVID. And we do not know when it is going to open again. But we hope it is soon. So you have the chance to enjoy it.

Restaurant and Terrace

I did not have the opportunity to go to their restaurant. But judging from the pictures, it looks very modern! And I am pretty sure, that the food must be good.

And in case you do not like to be in closed spaces, you can go to the terrace! Where you surely will have a great city view. So as of the Namsan Tower.

Even at night, you can enjoy a beautiful scenery.

Surroundings

Just next to Ibis Styles Ambassador Hotel, there is a convenience store. So as a chicken restaurant. And I am pretty sure that once you go out, you would want to stay there for a while. Thanks to the stunning scenery of the Namsan Tower surrounded by nature, of course.

What is more, is that this place is located just 5 minutes away from Myeongdong Station. And 8 minutes from the shopping street! Is not it amazing? It sounds like a dream to be able to go to this famous place whenever you want, for sure.

In addition, this is a centric location. So it is easy to go to other attractions.

How to get there: From Myeongdong Station Exit 10, you must walk straight. And cross the street. You will find it right away!

Conclusion

Ibis Styles Ambassador Hotel (Myeongdong) is a great option for accommodation. Not only because it is at a centric location. But also is very near the famous Myeongdong shopping street! Plus it has great views of the Namsan Tower.
