Are you a fan of the 2019 K-drama “Hotel del Luna” starring IU (Lee Ji-eun) and Yeo Jin-goo? Hotel del Luna is a fantasy themed Korean drama. IU plays the character of Jang Man-wol, the owner of Hotel del Luna while Yeo Jin-goo portrays the role of Gu Chan-sung, the hotel’s general manager. The hotel is a supernatural place that caters to souls or ghosts who have unfinished businesses on earth. It has a good mix of fantasy, drama, romance, comedy, historical and horror scenes that will make you watch it until the end.

C156

First on the list is ‘C156’ which appeared in episode 14 of the series. Jang Man-wol hands ghost Seol Ji-won (David Lee) the full moon hairpin that was given to her by Ko Cheong-myeong (Lee Do-hyun) in this restaurant. C156 is an event space and restaurant located at the H Avenue Hotel. You can enjoy the outstanding night view of the city at the rooftop of this hotel which became a new landmark connecting Seongsu-dong and Konkuk. Click here to look around C156’s instagram.

Pizza Alvolo (Mullae Branch)


In addition, Hotel del Luna also filmed some scenes at Pizza Alvolo in its Mullae branch on the 4th episode of the drama. This Pizza Alvolo is a branch of a Korean pizza chain Alvolo. If you would like to find a branch around you, click here.

Samcheong-dong Korea Guesthouse

In one of the scenes in episode 1, Samcheong-dong Korea Guesthouse was also featured. Goo Chan-sung gets cornered outside this place by the female ghost who follows after him. Then Jang Man-wol comes to help him. This is located inside the Bukchon Hanok Village where a lot of Korean dramas were filmed too. To know more about it, click here.

Seoul Book Bogo

The Seoul Book Bogo, also known as Seoul Book Repository, is another filming location of Hotel del Luna. The hotel’s employee Choi Seo-hee (Bae Hae-sun) helps an elderly ghost who loves to study in this place who appeared as a library in episode 2. This is Seoul’s first second-hand bookstore which has over 100,000 books in it. For more information, click here.

The Skyfarm at FKI Tower

Jang Man-wol meets the tiger at this The Skyfarm located in FKI (Federation of Korean Industries) Tower. It is actually a restaurant located on the 50th floor of the building. The Skyfarm consists of four places: a dining brand the Storage, Someone’s Storage, All day Fresh Kitchen (Semoa), and the Promenade that can hold various parties and wedding. We Are Young Mural


The Korean drama-famous “We Are Young” mural also appeared in the 1st episode of the series when Goo Chan-sung walks along the street near Duksung Girls’ High School. There are a lot of Kdramas which filmed in that exact location too. This mural is in the alley in front of Jeongdok Public Library. If you would like to visit this place, you take Seoul subway line 1, get off at Anguk Station (안국역) and take Exit 1.
Yeouido Saetgang Pedestrian Bridge

Lastly, the Yeouido Saetgang Pedestrian Bridge also shortly appeared. Gu Chan-sung crosses this bridge in episode 11 of Hotel del Luna. If you get off at Singil station, line 1 and cross the street, you can easily find the bridge. This place is worth visiting because the sunset from this bridge is pretty good and there is a park nearby.
