It has already been 5 months since I moved to Suncheon for my language course. Although I have visited many different places during this time, there are still sights that I have never been to. In this article, I am going to share information about Jukdobong Park, where you can go for a walk to spend time at weekends.

Jukdobong Park is the perfect spot for tourists and locals alike to take a break from their busy lives and experience the beauty of Suncheon. It is an ideal place for a weekend getaway, offering a variety of activities such as hiking and sightseeing.
Jukdobong Park in Suncheon
Jukdobong Park is located on the south side of Suncheon City, approximately 10 minutes away from the center of town. The park covers an area of approximately 18 acres and features a variety of facilities such as restrooms, restaurants, and a parking lot. The park also features several hiking trails that offer spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.

As you go up, you will have a view of the city. Unfortunately, because of lack of time, I did not climb the peak of the mountain and returned back because I wanted to see the sunset from the observation desk.

There are also several benches at the top where visitors can sit and enjoy the beautiful views. With a panoramic view, you can see Suncheon from different angles.
After the sun goes down and it gets dark outside, a lot of lanterns along the stairs are installed near the observation desk. Before heading down the stairs, stop at this spot to take beautiful photos with the streetlights in the background.
Conclusion
I recommend visiting Jukdobong Park for those who live in Suncheon or travel here. Because, from my point of view, it is a great opportunity to experience the beauty of this city up close. Do not forget also to check out the observation desk nearby.
