Gosu cave
Overview
Gosu Cave is a limestone situated in Danyang, well known for its top-notch maintenance and beauty with mystery. Roughly around 1,700 meters long, it will take about an hour to walk around the cave. The cave features stalactites, stalagmites, underground lakes, cave pearls, and other cave formations. Thus, it will be a thrilling cave experience.

Guinsa Temple
Overview
Tucked back in the Sobaek Mountains, this sleepy temple comes to life the further you know about its mysterious charm. Guinsa Temple might not be the most accessible, but it is undoubtedly the most divine yet magnificent temple that I have ever witnessed. Not to say, the real hidden gem of Danyang. A 1600km hike is all needed to enjoy Guinsaโs majesty. Standing gorgeously in all 4 seasons, Guinsa is a must be included attraction in your Danyang itinerary. It is also known as the most unique temple in Korea amongst locals.

History
Guinsa Temple is the main temple of the Korean Buddhist Cheontae Order. The temple serves as a religious center for two million Cheontae Buddhists who follow the Grand Patriarch Sangwol-Wongak. The mysterious charm of the mountains has led to its reputation as a holy place of Mahayana Buddhism. The Grand Patriarch Sangwol-Wongak established the temple in Yeonhwaji. Completed in 1945, the temple was renovated in 1966 using a concrete frame, which was a very unique and modern construction practice at the time.

Journey to the peak of Guinsa Temple
A total of 1600km need to be covered to reach the top of the temple. Nevertheless, you can take the bus provided or by taxi that covers 800m of the total journey. The bus to the starting point of Guinsa Temple is available every 20 minutes from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm.

Getting Here
Guinsa Temple is accessible by both bus and car. If you are from Seoul, you can take the intercity bus from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal to Guinsa Temple. The bus to Guinsa temple is available every 1 hour from 6:59 am to 6:00 pm.

Little Forest Cafe
