The Hip Area of Yeonnam-dong
Found close by to the lively area of Hongdae, Yeonnam-dong is filled with hidden gems. Think themed coffee shops, one-of-a-kind restaurants and cute pop-up stores. On the side opposite from lively Hongdae, you’ll find Gyeongui Line Forest Park, a relaxing, healing forest open all year.
Slow, Cali Hawaiian Cafe
It’s not difficult to find Slow, Cali as there is usually a huge line of people waiting outside. Slow, Cali is a small yet hugely popular Hawaiian restaurant, with poke bowl as its specialty dish. One of the reasons Slow, Cali is so popular is because of the healthy reputation of their dishes, as well as their use of fresh, high quality ingredients.
Hawaiian Poke Bowl
Poke bowl has become a huge culinary trend across the world in recent years, though the dish itself is a traditional Hawaiian delicacy. Poke bowls typically consist of raw fish, such as tune or salmon, served with rice and fresh veg — sort of like a sashimi salad!
Slow, Cali offers several different poke bowls, ranging from fish and meat based to veggie alternatives, such as their grilled tofu poke bowl. If poke bowls aren’t your thing, there are other tasty options available, such as barbecue shrimp and colourful smoothies.
