Happy Bear Day: Cute Cafe in Hapjeong

Happy Bear Day Cafe in Seoul is one of the cutest cafes I have been to so far. Everywhere you look you can find cute decorations and not only that, but you also find a diverse menu of desserts and nice drinks.

The Cafe

The Happy Bear Day Cafe was one of the places that I found through Instagram ads while I was scrolling and it immediately got my attention.

The place not only looks pretty on the inside but also the outside is super colorful and cheery. Since I was living close to the cafe during vacation, I decided to head there to check it out.

I arrived at Happy Bear Day on a weekday in the middle afternoon (around 3:00 p.m.) and the cafe still had places to sit. I found out later that day, as the whole place was full of people and a waiting line, that it is usually busy. It stays like this until closing time. So I guess my first recommendation is to try going right after lunch.

Inside the cafe, you can also you can find a bunch of decorations, like dolls and plushies, and some Disney-themed toys.

The nicest part inside though is the small photo printing machine. Although the quality of the photo is not good, it is just printed paper, I thought it was a really nice touch of the cafe to call the attention of customers.

Outside the place, you can find a few photo zones. The main one is the mirror at the entrance, with the name of the place.

Happy Bears Day Cafe started out small but now it is getting the attention of people every day. I saw many people talking about it in the area, and another big attention point is the fact that a few celebrities have been at the place.

Some of these celebrities even signed some autographs to be exposed on the walls of the cafe. The one that called me called my attention the most was Joy from Red Velvet.

The menu at Happy Bear Day not only is delicious but also it is super cute.

I decided to take a red velvet cake which came with this incredible whipped cream piping work on the top. To be honest I even felt bad for eating this cute decoration. My friend also got a cake, but in blueberry flavor, that was also very delicious and had some cute figures on top.

I still have to try their other desserts but I heard that their cookies are also really nice and they do come in a bear format.

They do have a good selection of drinks also. From coffee choices to ades and teas, I do not think you will be disappointed by the possibilities. A nice addition to them is that the drinks come with the cutest straws that I have ever seen: heart-shaped ones. Overall, the cafe really pays attention to its own brand.
