Hapjeong is one of the places where you can really essence of Seoul. It’s a neighborhood with a creative and self-reliant spirit. Today I would like to introduce you to some of Hapjeong’s most artistic and unique cafes serving up cookies and fantastic Han River views.
Cafe Bonnie
Cafe Bonnie is the first cafe I would like to introduce. It’s close to Hapjeong subway station’s exit 6. They specialize in designing over-the-top toppings for adorable cakes and cookies.
And even – cakes topped with cookies! Their designs are really unique and whimsical. Overall, the entire concept of their creations is like something out of a storybook.
I was blown away by the level of attention to detail they put into their cookies. I would especially recommend this location to cookie lovers. They have one of the largest cookie selections I have ever seen!

Hill’s Cafe
Hill’s cafe is located near exit 7 of Hapjeong station. This cafe has spectacular city views. They have an abundance of comfortable seating. If I had to describe this cafe in a word it would be opulence!
The fact that there is a rooftop adds to the uniqueness of this cafe. With chairs and tables, the patio exudes a picnic vibe. Summertime, in my opinion, is the best time to go to this coffee shop and enjoy the beautiful weather from the rooftop.
Although the view is their main appeal, they also offer a wide range of drinks. They sell coffee, non-coffee, ades, tea, juice, and smoothies.
Among the many options, the hazelnut latte, passion fruit ade, chamomile tea, Retro smoothie, blueberry banana juice, and royal milk tea are among their most popular drinks. If you have trouble choosing, I think it is always best to go with one of their signature items.

Maros Cookie
Finally, we have Maros Cookie, located near exit 1 of Sangsu Station. Their cookies are simple but eyecatching. However what really puts them over the top is their unique cookie flavors, which is their main source of popularity.
The Red Velvet Cream Cheese Cookies are their best-selling item. They even claim that they are one of the best cookies in the world. And I have to admit, it was pretty good!
However, before I got there I assumed they only sold cookies. But they also served a variety of delicious drinks that paired well with the heavy cookies. Out of everything I tried, in order, I think the Yellow Cheese Cookie, Matcha Cream Cheese, Red Velvet Cream Cheese, and Butterscotch were the best. Overall, I thought these flavors were really original and that it was well worth the trip.
