So, what’s the best time of year to visit? I’d say the best time of the year is definitely in spring because you get to enjoy the calmness of the waves and the beach before the summer crowd hits. And when I say crowded I mean like seriously bustling with people because this really is everyone’s favorite spot in Busan when it comes to escaping from the summer heat in peak summer months like June or July.
To get to Haeundae Beach from Seoul take the KTX no. 101 to Busan. Then take bus number 1003 from Busan Station straight to Haeundae beach.
Or if you are already in Busan then simply catch subway line 2 to Haeundae Station and use exit 3 or 5. The beach is just a 5 minute walk from the exits.

It’s not hard to see why Haeundae beach is one of the most popular beaches in Korea. It has one of the loveliest sparkling blue shorelines and is easily accessible by subway or bus so it makes sense that many people come here in spring and summer.
Another great thing about this place is that since it’s so close to the city you can enjoy your whole day at the beach and then get lunch or dinner at one of the nearby restaurants that are just a short walk away.
