About Grevin Museum
Grevin Museum (서울 그레뱅 뮤지엄) is the first Asian subsidiary of France’s famous wax museum, the Musee Grevin. Its other venues are located in Paris, Montreal and Prague. It houses over 80 wax figures of popular personalities that are presented in different themed spaces. You can see Hallyu celebrities like PSY and G-dragon, to figure skating star Kim Yuna, as well as historical figures such as King Sejong and General Yi Sun-sin. Compare to other museums, you can actually touch and take close selfies with the wax figures on display. Grevin Museum is definitely worth to visit when you go to Seoul.
Moreover, the Grevin Museum is housed in a building that was originally a relic of the Seoul government thus it has historical and architectural significance. There are 7 marvelously themed halls that you can explore. Each exhibition hall is equipped with high-end technology that allows you to interact with your favorite idols through lifelike gestures, actions and vocal sounds.
Exhibition Halls
1F: Ticket booth, Grevin Boutique, Café Grevin
The first floor houses the ticket booth. They offer discounts for university students, children, seniors and group tours. The staff is foreigner-friendly so don’t worry if you can’t speak in Korean when you go there.


It also has Café Grevin where you can indulge in a selection of cakes and macaroons or enjoy a meal of delicious pizzas, pasta and fresh salads. You can also find the Grevin Boutique where you can buy various merchandise including those from famous Hallyu stars.
2F: Beauty Salon, Recording Studio, Hallyuwood, Hall of Fame
Feel like a celebrity when you enter the Beauty Salon at the second floor. It has makeup props and vanity mirrors where you can take mirror selfies.

Grevin Museum also has the Hallyuwood, a wordplay of “Hallyu” and “Hollywood” where you can see the wax figures of some famous Hallyu artists. It includes the wax figure of dashing Jang Geun-suk and charming Hyun Bin. Additionally, you can also take couple pictures with Kim Soo-hyun while standing or take a seat with Lee Min-ho. While the wax figure of actress Park Shin-hye can make you feel that you are really standing beside her.
Aside from their wax figures, the hall also exhibits their handprints with their signatures.


3F: The Great Champion, Discovery Atelier, Presidential Aircraft
The Grevin Museum also exhibits wax figures from the world of sports and politics. You can take selfies with the wax figures of Michael Jordan to former US Presidents Obama and Trump. You can also experience riding in a presidential aircraft and be welcomed by Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom. Truly, an around the world experience!



4F: Red Carpet, Cinema World, History & Great Men
Another exciting exhibit hall at Grevin Museum is the fourth floor where you can enter Cinema World in a red carpet. Top Korean actor Bae Yong-joon will welcome you before you meet the other stars. It also features other famous martial arts actors such as Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee.
Another mind-blowing experience is to be in the same classroom with the genius Albert Einstein and the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs.

- Children (ages 5-18) & Senior citizens (ages 65 or older): 15,000 KRW
- Foreigners can buy discounted tickets from Klook for 15,000

- Option 1: Ride a subway and get off at City Hall Station (Seoul Subway Line 1, 2), Exit 6. From Exit 6, walk straight for 5 minutes.
- Option 2: Ride a subway and get off at Euljiro 1-ga Station (Seoul Subway Line 2), Exit 1. From Exit 1, walk straight for 3 minutes. Grevin Museum will be on your right.
