Today I’m going to write about a famous café blowing up Naver blogs – Climb Tower in Busan. The café is located near the picturesque Ilkwang Beach. I have got to know about this place through a Korean friend and according to her, this café is popular dating spot. As soon as I entered the café I understood the reason why.
First Impressions
The café was brimming with romance. The elegant but simple décor was perfect for concentrating your attention on the real star of the café – the view.
The café is faceted with large windows facing an emerald sea. It is like something you read about in books. It would be the perfect romantic getaway to come and enjoy the view with a lover.
Overall the café had a lovely calming atmosphere between the interior design and the ocean view before me. There is also an outdoor terrace area which would be perfect on a hot summer day. Unfortunately, I went on winter, so I could only remain inside to stay warm.
However, I have to say, you have to come early if you’re planning to grab a seat and stick around for a while. Climb Tower is a popular café on Instagram and especially on the local favorite, Naver Blogs.
If you are planning to come on a weekend or a holiday, my tip is to get there VERY early. I always come early myself because I want to take nice pictures before the crowd comes in.
Climb Tower Bakery
The view caught my eye, but the bakery caught my nose.
The first floor is overflowing with the miraculous smell of freshly baked pastries. The desserts and bread were a feast for the senses. You can self pick up anything you want, I am sure everything is amazing!
I personally streamlined it towards the egg tarts.
Brunch
There are also amazing brunch options and great coffee that are worth a try. I tried there ciabatta sandwich and their signature drink sum sum peanut. It is a bitter sweet espresso toppled with peanut cream and I highly recommend it.
Additionally, other brunch options such as soup, sandwiches, French toast and pastas were also available. Their brunch time is from 11am to 4pm daily. Their menu items change frequently. So, you can follow their Instagram account to see their menu to open hours.
Conclusion
Although its a little out of the way, you can make a day out of it. In addition to the café, there are local sea food restaurants nearby. Plus, you can take a stroll along the seaside, which always feels refreshing. I loved coming to this café and I give a 10/10 on everything. If you are in Busan and looking for good food and nice sea views, Climb Tower is the place.

After that, you can transfer to the Donghae Line and Arrive at Ilkwang Station. Afterwards, you can take the bus number 180 or 188 and get off at Onjeong. Then walk for 3 minutes and you will be able to find the café.
