It has gone above and beyond to provide a welcoming atmosphere for their patients. Korea Lasik (Smart Lasik & Lasek) are the procedures that Sky Eye Clinic are best known for. I’m not a doctor but I’ll do my best to describe it simply.

Smart Lasik, Lasek, and Lasik are all corrective eye surgery. Most people get the procedure done to correct their vision in the hopes that they will no longer need contact lenses or glasses. Lasik is the original version of the surgery, while Lasek uses a more advanced technique, and Smart Lasik is the latest version of the procedure. There are pros and cons to each surgery type, and some are more suitable than others depending on the eye issues you are facing.

First Impressions

Note: I did not get any surgery here. So, I cannot speak of surgery experience. The purpose of this article is to introduce the clinic’s facilities and services for foreigners.

When I walked in I was surprised to find such a welcoming interior at an eye clinic, of all places. With so much greenery, it gave off the vibe of a meditation retreat.

In fact, I found the green interior to be one of the highlights of the clinic. I didn’t feel any of the anxiety that normally comes with being in a clinic.

It looked like a lovely garden theme cafe, or meditation space from the moment I stepped through the door, to the second I left. It made me feel at peace.

Also, they have a garden. It’s said that the color green is good for the eyes, but I also felt that it was good for my anxiety. Here, you will not only receiving treatment but also color therapy.

Consultation Check-In

After reaching the clinic, I went to the information desk on the 8th floor. Then, I told them the reason for my visit and had a 1:1 consultation with my doctor.

After the consultation, I went up to the 9th floor to get my diagnosis and results.

Korea Lasik Consulation

As part of my consultation for Korea Lasik (Smart Lasik), I received an in-depth examination. This exam looked at all of my risk factors for developing eye diseases. Plus, it could estimate the probability of successful Smart Lasik surgery. As this is the top Korea Lasik clinic, I felt assured that I was getting the most in-depth exam possible.

All these test names sound complicated. Worry not, as ordinary citizens, we just need to visit the eye clinic and tell our symptoms to the doctor, then let them figure it out.

After getting a thorough examination to see if I was eligible for Smart Lasik, I headed over to the treatment room. This Gangnam Smart center had everything I needed to feel totally at ease.

The clinic has the latest surgery equipment. Surgery Rooms are located on B1. However, more than that, they have a lot of little perks that can make your experience more enjoyable. You can listen to music before getting the surgery to calm yourself. The chairs are so comfortable, and each chair comes with nice quality headphones. You can also listen to music while getting surgery.
