As the pandemic hit, traveling became a privilege. Our only solution was to travel from home through out favorite tv shows on Netflix. Emily in Paris is one of em. With itโs Parisian background, many felt like traveling through the show to Paris. What if I told you it is possible in Korea too? The French touch it Seoul ~
I collected a few places that will give you that Emily in Paris vibe while still being in Korea.
OH la la Seoul
A cute cafรฉ in Hannam-dong with a French like terrace. You can sit outside on the French signature wood chairs and enjoy your cafรฉ.
They have various drinks from coffee to tea and even alcohol. Their deserts too have that French touch with the baked brie and the Dacquoise, a desert originated from the south of France made of Almonds.
Address: 32 Itaewon-ro 54-gil, Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
La Pause
The pause you need~ Another cafรฉ with the French signature terrasse.
I mentioned this cafรฉ previously in my Top vegan desert places in Seoul. Not only does it have vegan cakes, it has a European vibe in the middle of Seoul. With the old films playing in the background, the classical music and the cute vintage decoration, you feel like somewhere in Paris.
Address: Seoul, Mapo-gu, Hapjeong-dong, 412-2, 1F
Ohlala Paris
From the name you get the idea. This little restaurant is loved for its authentic French cuisine. From the classic onion soup to the ratatouille, their menu is full of French cuisine.
The decoration has a french vibe with the flag, the napkins and the music in the background. They also have a selection of wine.
The place is quite small and with the new social distancing regulations you need to make a reservation in advance. Make sure to contact them to reserve a seat. โ๏ธ 070-4128-0008

Le briller
Located about 3 minutes away from the Bukchon Hanok village, Le Briller is a popular french toast restaurant that easily passes as one of the best brunch.
You can have it sweet or salty. I highly recommend the Egg pot one, so cheesy and perfect for brunch.
Due to its popularity, you might have to queue. But it is worth the wait ~
Address: 75-8, Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
