Today I want to tell you about the Vivaldi park, which I visited in February 2020. During the winter holidays, many foreign students work in this park. And my friend, who works there as a ski instructor, invited us to relax in the park. There was a profitable package of services, which included transfer, equipment, etc.
By the way, if you like skiing or snowboarding, speak good English, or if you are professionally involved in these sports, then do not miss the opportunity. This is a wonderful opportunity not only to earn extra money, but also a cool opportunity to play sports every day, meet interesting people from different countries, relax from the city bustle, breathe fresh air and enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounds you.
In this photo all prices are painted. We choose the package without instructor, because one of my friends knew how to ride well and he taught us everything (and you can also watch video tutorials on YouTube channel).
We paid one hundred thousand KRW. This amount included suits, equipment, a round-trip transfer, glasses, a helmet and gloves. Gloves remain with you, and you rented a helmet and glasses (by the way, I didn’t really need glasses and I didn’t put them on, but the helmets are very comfortable and you feel protected in them. Therefore, I advise you to take gloves and a helmet). But if you want to save money, you can bring glasses and gloves with you. Many people wore regular sunglasses. But if you are a beginner and do not know how to ride well,
most likely you will often fall and sunglasses may be uncomfortable for you.
* If you are a foreigner and paid for a lesson with an instructor, they will explain everything to you in English and the instructor will always be with you. I consider this a very big plus of the park. There are always a lot of foreigners.
This was my first experience. I don’t know how to ski or snowboard at all. But this time I went to learn. I was very afraid. Thought it was very difficult and I will fall a lot. But in fact, I learned faster than I expected.
There for beginners, like us, there was a low slope on which it is not scary to fall and you can quickly learn to ride.
On a low slope, we rode for about two hours and it was lunch time.
We had lunch we went to one of the restaurants, which is located in the park. The choice is especially small. These are mainly hot dishes with broth, such as ramen, oden, udon, etc. What you need in cold weather 🙂
Food prices are average, portions are large and tasty. Also, if you are a coffee lover, there are coffee houses on site.
We had a tasty meal and went further up the slope. There, by the way, there are more people and have to stand in line. We rode about three – four times and had to go to change clothes in order to catch the bus.
We had a really cool vacation with friends and we liked it there so much that we are planning to visit this park again this winter.
So take your friends and go to there for new emotions and good mood!
