The Seoul Wave Art Center opened in 2019 as part of the city’s urban spaces revitalization project. It sits on the Han River, near the Han River’s Renaissance star in Sebitseom.

The Seoul Wave Art Center Is a Landmark

Since its opening, the Seoul Wave Art Center has become a landmark of Seoul’s Hangang Park. As you can see in the picture, the center has an interesting design and architecture. It’s a floating, three-story building with wide panoramic views. 

Leading up to the center, there’s a long bridge, which is perfect for strolling. Both the bridge and center are centered atop the Han River. In the springtime, the location is highly stunning with multiple photo ops.

The Seoul Wave Art Center Has a Panoramic View

Thirdly, the Seoul Wave Art Center has a stunning view. As mentioned, the architecture employs panoramic windows for an optimal view of the Han River.

Consequently, the area is very beautiful, especially during the sunset. If you’re going on a date or simply want nice photos, you can visit the center for a romantic atmosphere. 

Overall, the feel of the center is very welcoming. Inside the center, the interior design employs a rule-of-thirds. In some areas, there are pops of colors on the walls to match the creativity of the exhibits.

In other areas like the cafe, the color scheme is monochromatic to promote a peaceful atmosphere.

The main seating area also has many plants and high ceilings to maximize airflow. Both add to the tranquility of the space.

It Has a Lovely Indoor Starbucks and Seating Area

After its opening in 2019, the center launched an indoor cafe called the Coffee Wave. However, recently, the Coffee Wave has shut down. In its place, the center has opened an indoor Starbucks.

So, you can enjoy both art and great coffee. At Starbucks, you get access to all their trademark coffee blends and baked goods.

There’s nothing more refreshing than a nice latte paired with a Starbucks biscotti. 

Moreover, the indoor seating area is also an excellent working space. You can go there with friends or simply by yourself. There are charging ports around as well for your laptop and phone. 

The seating area is surrounded by panoramic windows, allowing you to enjoy the view as you eat.
