In our one-day trip in Gapyeong, we proceeded our way to FLORE โ a very Insta-worthy cafe placed in Cheongpyeong, Gapyeong after having lunch.
How to get to FLORE
FLOREโs location is quite far-off the city. The buses that run there are also not frequent. If you are lucky you might get to ride the bus in a few minutes but if youโre not, grabbing a taxi might be the best choice.

Photo zones
Every corner of the cafe was full of details. The place was decorated very aesthetically. Not mentioning about the overloading photo zones at each corner, there was also a small greenhouse-like glass house, which can be reserved for birthday party celebration. When it is not occupied, it becomes a hot photo zone.

Interior design of FLORE
The indoor of cafe was basically divided into two parts. One with brighter environment and white theme and another kind of authentic, classic, dark theme. The brighter part was half-indoor as the space was open to the outside but with a roof on top of it. We grabbed our seat there after ordering.
Coffee and Desserts
The price of their drinks and desserts range from 6000 won to 8500 won. They also do brunch. The prices are considered kind of expensive but reasonable considering the environment and facilities. The taste was not bad for both hazelnut latte and cheese cake.
Special facilities provided by FLORE
They are holding an Instagram event where you can get a free Spain Beer upon posting a picture of the cafe with mandatory hashtags.
At the backyard of the cafe, there is a tree house with nets which can accommodate two groups of customers each to enjoy the leisure inside the adorable tree house. Please note that you need to make reservation at the counter before entering the tree house. The maximum time to enjoy the tree house is 1 hour.
Another interesting point of FLORE is that they provide bicycle rental for 5000 won per person per 50 minutes. You can ride the bicycle to a tunnel called Saekhyoen Tunnel to take photos. The tunnel is located at a 10-minute-ride distance from the cafe. You can get really beautiful photo at the tunnel provided the weather and lighting are good.
