Like the rest of Gangwon-do, Yeongwol boasts stunning natural scenery. Although there are various gliding sites across Korea, Yeongwol has the highest altitude. Fly through a clear sky and enjoy the view that stretches for miles. Furthermore, if you’re a K Drama fan, you might recognise the backdrop from “Crash Landing on You.” The basic gliding course is 100,00 won but with professional pilots, you will get your money’s worth.

Yongpyong Resort: Mountain Coaster
Like XGAME, Yongpyong offers a variety of different activities. However, their Mountain Coaster is the most iconic. In a personal cart, with the option to adjust speed, you can whiz down the side of the mountain. The coaster combines an adrenalin rush with a gorgeous view. Moreover, if the sharp curves don’t affect your nerves, you could reach the maximum speed of 40km/h! Finally, the best part: It’s only 12,000 won.
