Theme parks are always a great option when you’re looking for chili but an enjoyable day with your friends and Seoul has an awesome choice for your day out: the Everland Theme Park. The park is outside the city, but don’t worry, it is easy to get there! There are a lot of bus options depending on where you are departing and if you are more comfortable traveling by subway, just drop off at the Everland Station and take the free shuttle bus till the park entrance.
Regarding entrance fees, if you buy your tickets on the Everland official website, it will cost you ₩56,000 (around $56), but you can usually find better prices at Trazy. Just go onto their website and search for “Everland”, and depending on the date you will find prices around ₩40,000. Another tip for making your time in Everland even more enjoyable is downloading the Everland mobile application. You can just type “Everland” on either Apple Store or Play Store and it’s the first option shown. The app will show you a full map of the park and how are the lines for each attraction. Through it you can also check when the parades are taking place and closing time of each attraction.
You are allowed to get in the park with your own food, so make sure to pack some light snacks and water! Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, because you will walk a lot during the day if you want to enjoy everything Everland has to offer you.
Things You Can Experience
There is a lot of fun and thrilling attractions at Everland, from light rides such as a Ferris wheel to more radical rides such as the T Express roller coaster. If you are the kind of person who loves a rush of adrenaline I totally recommend all of the 3 roller coasters, especially the T Express – it’s so fast you have to stretch before riding it. But don’t worry, everything is perfectly safe. A nice ride that you can’t find everywhere is the Let’s Twist. which you can check on the video below:
The ride was super fun and gave me and my friends a good rush of adrenaline, we even rode it two more times. There is a small space where you can leave your things before riding the attraction, so don’t worry about losing glasses or watches. If you are not that into adrenaline you can also ride traditional Theme Park attractions such as the bumper car and the Carrousel. And if there are kids ins your party, Everland also has a bunch of attractions for them. Also, the park is a really pretty place to walk around and tale pictures. It feels just like a magical land. Don’t leave before checking the beautiful tulip garden they have.
Do you think it’s over? It isn’t! Everland also offers you a Panda park where you can see really cute pandas. They even have the red panda! But be careful about your schedule, this part of the park is closed earlier than the park itself. And after the pandas, you can watch the night parade, which is a beautiful parade with lots of lights and nice choreographies.
Enjoying it so far? Inside Everland you can also find some restaurants (mostly burgers and pasta) and small tents with snacks like churros and ice cream. Food, fun, and lots of memories to collect if you visit Everland!
