Korean cuisine has so many different delicacies to enjoy. Ashley has many dishes which are common throughout the entire country whereas some dishes are unique to a restaurant only. I have had the experience to taste many such different and unique dishes. This blog is about a food outlet that really impressed Me with the variety of dishes and their commendable taste.
Ashley (애슐리) is a buffet chain in Korea which was founded in 2003 E-Land Group which is a conglomerate. There are more than 140 retail stores under E-Land Group under the name Ashley.

The specialty of Ashley is Steak but all the dishes they serve are really delicious. They have a mixed variety of native Korean dishes. They also have American cuisine and food from various different countries! So, it was one of my best friends’s birtday and we all went there to have a great lunch.
The Inside
It is very important for any restaurant to have a good vibe. For a person who has come to enjoy a meal, a clean and well decorated place is really a significant factor.

There is a common dining area just like high school where many tables are arranged around. This is a big open space and is a little less private. For privacy and larger groups, there are different sections divided by partitions for people in groups. They are able to have some privacy.
These partition rooms are also decorated in a very unique and quirky manner. There is melancholic soft music playing which allows you to have a conversation as well. Although I don’t really talk much while eating, it is a good thing to have light music playing. Overall, As I dine at Ashley’s, there were no negative points for me about the atmosphere.

What is on the Main Menu?
Okay, so let’s start with salads and soups. There are variety of options to choose from. You can have the soups with noodles. Also there are a whole lot of vegetables or other toppings to make the perfect starter.

The salad stand has both vegetables and fruits. There are different combinations of vegetable salads you can choose from. A wide variety of fruits are also available.

Moving forward to the main course, There are 3 different kinds of Pasta dishes. (As a pasta lover, they made me tear up)

Right next to it, there was a BBQ stall. It had 3 different steaks:
- Teriyaki-fish Steak
- Butter Garlic Shrimp Steak
- Chicken Steak (My favourite)

On the other stalls, I found the Pepperoni Mac and Cheese, Chili Seaweed Rolls, Dumplings and Spicy Tteok-bokki.

The next stall had different noodle based dishes. I am not a fan of noodles but Spicy Buckwheat Noodles were really amazing. The Mapa Tofu was a delicacy similar to the Manchurian dish and I liked it too.

Beverages
A variety of beverages were available to refresh your mouth. These included sodas, non-alcoholic wine tea, green tea and of course Beer. Coffee was also available!

Sweet Dessert
After all the good foods, it is time for dessert. Yummy^^
Fruits

You will be touched by the various kinds of desserts they have… Chocolate mousse, pastries, cheesecakes, jellies and ice creams.

DIY Waffles

I really liked the fact that I can cook it myself. Because it is kind of hard to make waffles at home. And there were a variety of toppings such as syrups, ice cream, chocolate, etc. So I was able to make the best waffle to my taste!
