Hi there. I will be heading to Seoul & Jeju in coming mid June . Would love to see the daisy field in cheongoksan. There are 4 of us, would you recommend us to drive from Incheon to cheongoksan (experienced driver) or taking bus tour like you mentioned?
* Possible to share the Bus tour website link ? Thank you.
Hello Nikko,
Here is a link to the tour bus website: http://eng.pcta700.or.kr/travel-package-introduction/city-tour/eco-healing-road/
The tour is 27,000 won for adults and 22,000 won for children, it does include dinner. Although it is a pretty good deal, personally I would recommend driving if it is an option and you feel comfortable with possible language barriers.
It would probably be cheaper and Korean road trips are really fun! Between Seoul and Cheongoksan, the region is famous for potatoes. They sell seasoned potatoes at rest stops that are to die for! Plus, there are a lot of beautiful rivers and lakes along the way that you would miss out on if you took a tour bus.
On a side note, Google maps are completely useless in Korea. You will definitely get lost if you use them for navigation. Before you come, make sure to download Naver Maps and get familiar with the app before you start driving.
Thank you very much. I wish daisy is blooming in June when I visiting.
