If there is a place is Seoul that I highly recommend Hallyu fans to visit to have a complete Korean wave experience, it’s the Digital Media City or DMC (디지털미디어시티). It is a high-tech complex that houses top Korea media entertainment and IT companies. As a matter of fact, major broadcasting companies such as MBC and SBS have offices and studios at DMC. Thus, it is no longer surprising that many Korean shows are filmed there. Here are some of the buildings and establishments in Digital Media City which are frequently use as filming locations.
MBC Broadcasting Station Building [MBC문화방송 본사] is the main building of the Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC). It is one of the leading televisions and radio networks company in Korea. The following Kdramas were filmed at MBC building:
In addition, it also houses the MBC World. It is Korea’s first broadcasting theme park and a haven place for Hallyu fans who visit Seoul. If you are enthusiastic for Kdrama, K-pop, or anything Hallyu-related, you can definitely enjoy touring around MBC World. You can experience dancing and singing with your favorite Kpop idols as well as taking pictures with some Kdrama actors. Moreover, MBC also has the MBC Garden Studio [MBC 가든 스튜디오] in its premises. This glass studio allows visitors to watch viewable radio programs live while its airing. Most of the Kpop idols who are promoting their new albums, do radio guesting to introduce their new songs and meet with their fans. It is a perfect opportunity for fans see their favorite Kpop artists for FREE while visiting the Digital Media City.

CJ E&M Center [CJ E&M센터] is a building owned by the CJ Group, an entertainment and media company. This building has a media lobby and café on the first floor that is accessible to the public. Moreover, it also houses tvN (Total Variety Network).

Nuri Dream Square or Nurikkum Square [누리꿈스퀘어] a state-of-the-art digital media entertainment and IT hub which hosts industry leading companies in its buildings. It was featured in the following Korean dramas:

And lastly, one way to get to the Digital Media City, is to take the subway and get off at Digital Media City Station [디지털미디어시티역]. Some Korean dramas were also filmed at DMC station such as:
From Airport: Get off at Digital Media City Station on the Airport Railroad. Take Exit 9 and walk for 10 minutes.
From Gyeongui Line: Get off at Digital Media City Station on the Gyeongui Line. Take the connecting passage to Exit 9 and walk for 10 minutes.
From Gyeongui Line: Get off at Susaek Station on the Gyeongui Line. Walk for 10 minutes by using the pedestrian road (rabbit cave) that passes through the Gyeongui line railroad.
By Bus: Get off at DMC Promotion Hall or Nuritkum Square MBC.
